This morning I
made a six-figure donation to the DCSWCC. That's six action figures, not a
monetary sum containing six digits. They are going to be prizes at a
raffle at the Star Wars Road Show in Maryland this
Saturday.
Yes, I do
consider it a news-worthy update whenever I part with toys. I
also gifted 40 Star Wars minis to be used as door prizes for the first
people who show up. I hear they are going to be reserving the rare
minis for attractive female registrants...or maybe it was just female
registrants...one can't be too picky. The Star Wars Road
Show is being held Saturday, May 3rd from 1:30pm until 4:30pm at West County Area
Library, 1325 Annapolis Road Odenton, MD 21113.

just discovered that SWAFT is Google's second hit for people looking up
the word "Thracimene." We're also on the fourth page of msn.com's
search engine if you look up "Cobra Commander." What I really want to
know, however, is how someone found the page by looking up "making love
in bed" on the yahoo image search. Go fig.

Like a Virus
Tresobmania continues to sweep the Internet! A series of single panel
comics entitled Yodasnooze is now running on the Yodasnews.com
Website to help
celebrate their 2nd anniversary. Plus, they've been giving away
prizes all month, and there's still a chance to get in on the action!
Speaking of anniversaries...it was three years ago sometime in February
that I shot my first action figure rendition of Shakespeare: HAMLET.
We've come a long way since that crummy little webcam...
Oh, yeah, and I just added two more deskjobs: a political satire and a
bad bar pun.

Happy New Year!
SWAFT took off for the holidays, but now we are back and ready for
action!
First, an update on the Star Wars vs. G.I.Joe comic...Issue two is
still in the photo-editting process. However, I plan to release a
bumper mini-comic soon.
Secondly, I have something big planned. Really big. Bigger than our
100-shot epic battle sequence from Henry
V. Bigger than our Flash
animation of You Direct Hamlet.
Bigger than the
politically-charged comic strip that I no longer directly link to from
SWAFT. It's just really, really BIG. You'll go nuts for it, so keep
checking in for updates.
Speaking of updates, we should now be RSS ready...theoretically
speaking.
Finally, my sincere apologies to Jennifer P. You might recall that
Jennifer was our first completely random customer

auction for a young lady named Katie who, at the age of seven, bravely
confronted a severe brain tumor.
Katie passed away last night.

convention where Star Wars fans can throw money at George Lucas.

a series of eBay auctions to raise money for Katie, the daughter of SW
fan and renowned Stormtrooper Albin Johnson of the “fighting
501st.
Katie has been undergoing treatment for a severe brain tumor and the
family is accepting donations.
That’s
right,
not only can you make a donation to Katie’s family, you can
take
home a piece of Star Wars memorabilia AND theatre history!
Each
SWAFT

also include a CD containing a home version of SWAFT as well as a
Certificate of Authenticity signed by Tresob Yr himself to prove that
